This includes: Model Residences, to Community Space, Leasing Offices, Clubhouses, Hospitality Boutiques and Flagship Conversions. AMDC creates impressive indoor environments with their unique use of space, color, dramatic furniture & fixtures, and hand-finished detailing. Their unparalleled use of interior space is well-known. They are experts in the delicate balance, drawing on canvases of dramatic color palettes, hues and textures. And with a broad range of experience in the Northeast, they have curated a coveted list of exclusive resources and manufacturers. Partnering with both their clients and their vendors, AMDC forms a collaborative team of experts who espouse a goal of bringing interior space to life in an innovative fashion.

Meet Angela Mermini - Owner & Lead Designer

Angela Mermini has been a designer, in one form or another, for as long as she can remember. At sixteen years of age she started her own business of custom embellished activewear, and soon thereafter, attended FIT and Traphagen School of Fashion. She proudly sold her clothing through Bloomingdales and top boutiques around the country. Fabrics and color became a way of life for Angela and this evolved into her designing high-end interiors. Returning to school, she studied interior design, and a new pathway was forged. She opened her design firm in 2001 and it has been a success ever since. It is hard for Angela to turn off work, as designs happily dance in her head. She enjoys cooking with her family, entertaining friends and boating when the summer months draw her to the water’s edge.

Lisa Van Ness - Administrator
Lisa is a star at juggling many details that help our business run smoothly. From opening new accounts so we can offer our clients various vendor lists & trade discounts, to purchase orders, keeping track of payments & shipping, receivables and deliveries. That’s a lot of moving parts! Most of all she keeps us current on all our budgets on a daily basis. And when not working, Lisa enjoys eating healthy, exercising and keeping up with her teenagers.

Nick Zamora - Business Manager & Sales Development
Nick holds a business degree and oversees all of our business and reporting. He is also an expert at developing new sales opportunities for the firm.  His hidden talent is that he has a culinary degree and true passion for the world of cuisine. He adds a fun twist to dining out. 

Margie Levy - Merchandiser & Owner of Windows Etc.
Margie oversees all window treatments for AMDC projects, and is Angela’s right hand in merchandising. Margie has a great eye for composition and color. She is also the owner of Windows Etc. which is a full-service window treatment business. When we are not juggling work, Margie enjoys working out at the gym and spending time with her family. 

Our Co-Op Team
Another aspect to the firm’s business model is their ability to work with other independent designers and resources, as needed, on a given project. AMDC is nimble, and possess an exceptional list of contacts to instantly access a collaborative, creative, dream-team.
